Col (ret) Professor Assen Petkov passed away
Dear all,
With great sorrow , I must inform you that Sofia national coordinator col. (ret.) professor Assen Petkov passed way today (November, 29th ).
The IMIHO Community would like to express condolences to the family of Assen, as well as to his colleagues in Sofia for the loss of an exceptional medical officer.
We will always treasure our memories of him as a friend and his significant contribution as a leader and a scientist. He was one of the inaugural members of the IMIHO/SIMIHO Project and the living memory of this initiative.
The IMIHO Technical Working Group will dedicate the next (29th) Meeting to his memory.
May Assen rest in peace.
